 On
November 1, 2002 Warren Township came together to show their support for a colleague
whose son had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphnoblastic Leukemia. In the true sense
of "Caring and Sharing" the Warren community hosted the 1st annual "Will" Power
Run & Walk to benefit the "Kids Caring and Sharing" program of Riley Hospital for
Children. Will Shepler, son of Rich and Melanie Shepler, is the force that drove
the township to an unprecedented display of generosity.
Now
in its 6th year WillPower is gaining "Power" by teaming up the Ken Long & Associates
and his "Step Up To The Mini" training & events. Monies raised from this event
will go to the Kids Caring and Sharing Program.

this year WillPower will spotlight the Riley Kids in our community

SILENT
AUCTION
The WillPower Run & Walk has a unique aspect that most runs/walks do not have. There is a silent auction that takes place before, during and after the race to increase the monies raised for Kids Caring and Sharing for Riley Hospital.
We are currently seeking donations for this part of the event and welcome any items you wish to donate. Please contact Abbigail Sage at abbigail.sage@53.com if you have items you wish to donate.

Silent
Auction bidding begins on March 15th at 7:00 A.M. and closes for the last bid
promptly at 10:15 A.M. Cash and checks accepted, all items must be claimed by
12:00 P.M. March 15th or they will go to the next bidder.
Come

through the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods, the 1 Mile winds
its way through the campus of Warren Central High School.

 DAG Chip System - The DAG Chip System is used for timing the 5K and 10K. The chip is attached to the back of the bib number. No wasting time, pick up your bib number and have your chip already in place. All awards and results are based off of starting gun time - not the time that you cross the start line.

Awards will be presented at 10:30am. Unless "You Can Beat The Clock", Gift certificates will be awarded to the first
three male and female finishers in the 10K. There are no awards in the 5K,
but it will be timed and scored.
