Don't miss the first running of The Sheridan Harvest 5K Run/Walk, presented by First Farmers Bank & Trust, to be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007. We ask that all participants please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to Mama's Cupboard (but not required).

COURSE
Flat course. Loops around the Town of Sheridan. You will see sites such as Historical Boxley Cabin, also the highest point in Hamilton County, Veteran's Park, and Main Street. The race starts at Biddle Memorial Park and ends on the Monon Trail in the park. No bikes or rollerblades permitted on the course. Wheelchairs, wagons and strollers permitted.
REST & RECOVERY
Enjoy Biddle Memorial Park. Plenty of shade available. The awards ceremony will be held at the main stage, near the concession stand. Refreshments and snacks available to all participants.
SCORING & TIMING
We have chosen the DAG System for our scoring and timing because of its disposable chip, performance, high reliability, convenience to the participant, and back-up system. The chip is attached to your bib number, one single product for timing and identification. No wasting time, pick up your bib number and have your chip already in place. No more having to stop after you cross the finish line.
 AWARDS
Gift certificates for all winners will be provided by The Running Company. All participants 14 and under will receive a medal.

Age Division Awards (male & female):
Age divisions begin at 15-19, then every 5 years up to 70 and over. $15, $12, and $10 gift certificates to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each division. Overall winners are not eligible to win their age division.
FESTIVITIES
Bring your family and stay after the race to enjoy the Sheridan Harvest Moon Festival. There will be entertainment, exhibitors, food vendors, and special games. Anderson Amusements will be there with rides and games for kids of all ages! Don't miss out!
