The Polar Bear Run and Walk is a 5-Mile Run, a 5K Competitive Walk and a 5K Family Fitness Walk open to people of all ages and abilities. We reserve the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel the race due to extreme or severe weather conditions. (NO REFUNDS).

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Satisfaction guaranteed - Or we will refund your entry fee! KLA will reimburse your entry fee, upon request, if we fail to live up to the information as outlined in this information.
  • Separate start times - The run starts 20-minutes before the walks.
  • Confirmation - Will be emailed to all pre-registered entrants who provide an email address.
  • Results - Will be emailed to each timed finisher who has provided an email address. Complete results will be posted on KLA's web-site at www.kenlongassoc.com.
  • Youth awards - Trophies for finishers in the 5-Mile Run in age divisions 12 & under, 13-14 & 15-19. All run and walk finishers age 14 and under will receive medals.
  • Fazoli's Restaurant - Will be serving their terrific spaghetti with meat sauce, bread sticks, tea and lemonade free of charge to all registered entrants!
  • DAG Chip System - The DAG Chip System is used for timing the 5 Mile and 5K. The chip is attached to the back of the bib number. No wasting time, pick up your bib number and have your chip already in place. All awards and results are based off of starting gun time - not the time that you cross the start line.
