Champions of the Road Series
The Champions of the Road Series Events involves recognition and special awards presented at the end of 2010.
There is a Competitive Division and a Participation Division.
The Competitive Division is based upon accumulating points (see scoring below) in each Long Distance Road Championship event. To qualify for the year-end awards, you must participate in 8 of the 11 events listed below. The points earned in 2010 for the year-end awards will be based upon points scored in your top 5 Champions of the Road events.
If you have a birthday that puts you in another division, your points will move to the new division.
The Participation Division requires you to participate in a minimum of 9 of the Champions of the Road events and have a finish time for each. As an incentive, by participating in the winter/spring Bricks to Bricks Training Program or our summer/fall Marathon & Half-Marathon Training Program you will be eligible for additional awards.
The Awards Presentation Reception will be held in Indianapolis late in November, 2010.

Sept 19 Irish Fest Kilted Mile
Sept 26 Crossroads of America 20 Mile & 10 Mile
Oct 23 Moonlight 4 Mile
Champions of the Road Awards
Competitive Division Awards:
Plaque, logo'd All Weather Suit and two complimentary Awards Reception invitations.
Participation Division Awards:
If participating in 9 of the 11 Long Distance Road Championship events - a logo'd Tyvek jacket and an invitation to the Awards Reception.
If participating in 9 of the 11 Long Distance Road Championship events, plus 1 of the training programs - a logo'd Tyvek jacket and logo'd cap. If you participate in both training programs along with 9 of the 11 events, you will receive the Tyvek jacket, cap and gloves.
If particpating in all 11 Long Distance Road Championship events and both training programs - a plaque, logo'd All Weather suit and two complimentary Awards Reception invitations.
