Circle The City 10K - Map
A loop course, starting on Monument Circle, takes you through the Massachusetts Avenue Arts District, the Old Northside neighborhood, then south passing by the Indiana Memorial National Historic District with the finish on Monument Circle.
Circle The City 5K - Map
Starts and finishes on Monument Circle and includes the Massachusetts Avenue Arts District and the Indiana Memorial National Historic District.
To assure the safety of the runners and walkers, no strollers or baby joggers are permitted on the courses.
Weather permitting there will be live music performed by ISO musicians at various places on both courses.
The Junior Jog (FREE - ages 10 and under).
The Junior Jog course is one lap around Monument Circle. Each Junior Jogger will receive a trophy. There is no entry fee or registration required.

Gift certificates will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age division of the 10K and 5K. The divisions start at 20-24, up to 80 & over, in 5 year increments.
10K & 5K YOUTH AGE DIVISIONS top 3 boys and girls will receive trophies in age divisions 12 & under, 13-14 and 15-19.
FINISHERS' MEDALS to all runners and walkers age 14 and under who finish the 10K and 5K events. Please pick up this medal between 9:15 and 9:30am at the table marked "14 & Under Medals" - located on the south steps.
All t-shirts, numbers and awards must be picked up during the times listed on the schedule. NONE WILL BE MAILED.

The Rest and Recovery area on the South side of Monument Circle will include family activities, health screenings provided by IUMG, and music performed by members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

The TEAM ADVANTAGE!
Participating in Circle The City as a team is an opportunity for friends, families or co-workers to support the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
A minimum of ten registered participants is required to qualify as a "team". Anyone that registers as a member of a team receives a $2.00 discount on the entry fee. There will be an award given for the team with the most participants.
Team Captains may pick up the complete team packets in advance, or each team member may pick up their own packet.
There will be a designated area on race day for all teams to meet, get finalized and situated the day of the event.
If your team would like to designate one person to pick up race packets for the entire team, please have your registration forms and fees submitted to KLA on or before NOON, Friday, August 1, 2008.

DAG Chip System - The DAG Chip System is used for timing the 5K & 10K. The chip is attached to the back of the bib number. No wasting time, pick up your bib number and have your chip already in place. All awards and results are based off of starting gun time - not the time that you cross the start line.

The ISO is made up of 87 full time musicians that present more than 200 concerts anuually to a combined audience of over 400,000 people. Indianapolis On-The-Air, a syndicated broadcast of ISO performances, reaches into the homes of people in 39 states. As a leader in music education, the ISO sponsors more than 18 educational programs, including Arts Everyday, a program that provides teacher training and artist visits to classrooms in Central Indiana.
The historic Hilbert Circle Theatre is home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
