Presentation
of awards is at 9:00 p.m. on the stage at Military Park.
Cash awards to the first three male and female finishers in the open and masters
divisions in the run. Gift certificates from The Running Company to the top three
male & female finishers in the Competitive Walk and in each age division in the
run and competitive walk.

The
age divisions in the run start at 20 to 24, in 5 year increments
to 80 & over. The Running Company gift certificate values for age division
awards are 1st Place $15; 2nd Place $12; and 3rd Place $10.
Youth
Age Division Awards in the run go to the top 3 finishers, boys and girls, in divisions
12 & Under; 13 to 14 and 15 to 19. All finishers age 14 and under in all events
will receive a finisher's medal. Please pick up the medal near the awards ceremony
area.
PLEASE
NOTE: All awards must be picked up during the Awards Ceremony - none will be mailed.
There are no awards in the fitness walk, but it will be timed and results will be posted at www.kenlongassoc.com along with the run & comp. walk results.
COMPETITIVE
WALKERS - The walk course will be monitored. No running or jogging will be
permitted and those people called with be disqualified and ineligible for awards.
The decision of the monitors will be final.

Irish
Music
Enjoy Irish music performed on four stages by musicians from Ireland,
Canada and all over the United States including Gaelic Storm, Brother, Gael Force,
Off Kilter, and Brigid's Cross. Shop
at the Irish Market Shop
the more than twenty vendors from all over the United States selling imported
Celtic merchandise including clothing, food, jewelry, photographs, pottery, ornaments,
and genealogy items.
Kilted
Mile at 2p.m. Sunday, September 16
Entrants
must wear a kilt. Improvised running kilts worn over running shorts can be purchased for $5. The Kilted Mile is a fun event. The Kilted Mile starts on New York Street at Military Park, go west 1/2 mile, turn around and finish on New York Street.
Bagpipe bands
will pipe motivational music along the course. Awards will be given to the top
three finishers and for the following:

2003, Indy's Irish Festival initiated a competitive annual Irish Cultural Scholarship
program awarding $4,000 in scholarships to individuals to study Irish traditional
