The Underground Railroad Run, sponsored by the Westfield Washington Education Development Foundation, supports college scholarships for seniors as well as teacher grants for creative classroom enrichment.

About
The 5K route will travel through Asa Bales Park, home of an anti-slave cemetery established during the Underground Railroad era. Asa Bales, the first white settler in Westfield, helped develop the town as a place of safety for escaped slaves seeking freedom.
About the 3K
3K entrants will NOT have a bib number as it is a fitness event and not timed. If pre-registering, you do not need to go to packet pick up UNLESS a shirt has been ordered or you want to enter the drawing on Friday for a Gift Certificate.

Age Division Awards (Male & Female)
Gift Certificates will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age division of the 5K: $15, $12 and $10. The divisions start at age 20, in 5 year increments. The top three boys and girls will receive trophies in their age divisions: 12 & Under,
13-14 and 15-19.
NOTE: Masters (Age 40+) are eligible for overall awards too!
Event Highlights
- Confirmation - Will be emailed to all pre-registered entrants with an email address.
- Results - Will be emailed containing personal results to each timed finisher who has provided an email address. Complete results will be posted on KLA's website.
- Youth Awards - Trophies for finishers in the 5K in age divisions 12 & Under, 13 - 14 &
15 - 19.
