Directions to Highland Park:

From U.S. 31 at Markland Avenue/U.S.22: turn west onto Markland Avenue; at 7th stoplight, turn let (south) onto Washington Street; proceed south on Washington to the first stoplight at Defenbaugh Street; turn right (west) onto Defenbaugh. Continue west on 4-way stop). Race headquarters is located at the Park Entrance Shelter. Parking is available just inside and left of park entrance, or at various sites throughout the park.

Courses

The 5K & 1-Mile will start near the Rogers Pavilion, then will take you throughout the scenic and shaded park. You will finish back near the start line.

5K Run Age Division Awards (Male & Female)

Gift Certificates will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age division of the 5K: $15, $12 and $10. The divisions start at age 19, in 5 year increments.

5K Run Youth Awards

The top three boys and girls will receive trophies in their age divisions: 10 & Under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18.

5K Walk Age Division Awards (Male & Female)

Adults age divisions are 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 & Over.

5K Walk Youth Awards

1st place boy and girl overall, and in age divisions 10 & Under and 11 to 19. A trophy will be awarded.

1-Mile finishers will receive a Finishers' Ribbon.

Event Highlights

Confirmation - Will be emailed to all pre-registered entrants with an email address.
Results - Will be emailed containing personal results to each timed finisher who has provided an email address. Complete results will be posted on KLA's website.

After you finish your 5K or 1-Mile, join us for refreshments and the award ceremony that will take place near the park entrance shelter at the end of the race course.
