What

A 5K (3.1 miles) open to runners and walkers of all ages, abilities and experience. The course has no hills, is fast and scenic and includes the town of French Lick, the campus of the West Baden Springs Hotel, plus passes by the high school of the legendary NBA star, Larry Bird.

Register by NOON, Monday, April 12, 2010 to receive free short sleeved technical shirt. If registering on race day, short sleeved shirts are first come, first served.

Kiddie Romp

Free for ages ten and under. 1/4 mile non-competitive kids run/walk. Parents may participate with their children.

Awards

Boys & Girls Youth Divisions

Ages 9 & Under, 10 to 12, 13 to 14 & 15 to 18.  The top 3 in each age division will receive trophies.

Adult Divisions

Begin at ages 19 to 24, and every 5-years to 80 & over. The number of awards are determined by the number of participants in each age division and will not exceed four.

Overall

The top 3 male and female finishers will receive cash.  1st place receives $750, 2nd place receives $500 and 3rd place receives $300.

Chip Timing & Scoring

Ken Long & Associates will be using the disposable DAG chip timing system. The chip is attached to the back of your bib number, one single product for timing and identification. No wasting time, pick up your bib number and have your chip already in place. All awards and results are based on the time the gun goes off, not the time that you cross the start line.
