Event
The DAMAR Race for Success includes a 5-Mile Run, 5K Competitive Walk, 5K Family Fitness Walk and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and is open to people of all ages and abilities. We reserve the right to delay, reschedule or cancel the race due to severe weather or other extreme conditions.

Decatur Central High School Facilities, 5251 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. One-half mile southeast of I-465. For detailed driving directions from your location go to www.mapquest.com.

Entry Fees

Pre-registration must be received by Monday, September 27, 2004
"Your choice" (only for those who have pre-registered):
$12	race entry only
$17	race entry with short sleeve t-shirt
$20	race entry with long sleeve t-shirt
Friday and Race Day Registration (all events):
$15	race entry without t-shirt
$20	race entry with short sleeve t-shirt

Shirt will be X-Large if no size is indicated on the entry form. NO EXCHANGES AFTER SEPTEMBER 27th. All numbers and shirts must be picked up before 8:00am Saturday. NO SHIRTS WILL BE MAILED.

The 5-Mile Run & 5K Competitive Walk and Fitness Walk courses are shaded, flat, and fast! The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk takes you through the campus of Decatur Central High School.

Make a donation to DAMAR and help provide funds for residential, educational and support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

Highlights
Satisfaction Guaranteed - or we will refund your entry fee. KLA will reimburse your entry fee, upon request, if we fail to live up to the information as outlined for this event.

Confirmation Card - will be mailed to all pre-registered entrants.

Results - will be mailed to all registered finishers in the 5-Mile Run and Comp. Walk.

Separate Start Times - for each run and walk event.

Refreshments - fruit and drink will be provided to all entrants.

Finisher's Medal - to all registered run & walk participants age 14 and under.

Fazoli's Restaurant - the Official Restaurant of KLA Events will have spaghetti, breadsticks, lemonade, ice tea and much, much more.

St. Francis Hospital - the Official Medical Team of KLA Events will be at the start, finish and along the course.

Aspen Pure Bottled Water - the Official Water of KLA Events will be available at the start and finish.

Kline's Quality Water - will be available along the course.

Awards
Awards will be presented at 10:15am. Cash awards to the first three male and female finishers in the 5-Mile Run and Competitive Walk. Cash awards to the top three male and female masters (age 40 and over) in the run.

Master runners are eligible to win overall awards, too!

Male and female age divisions in the run and walk are: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and up.

A frameable certificate will be mailed to overall & age division winners.

Age division awards (gift certificates) to the top 3 males and females in the run and competitive walk. Age divisions are in 5-year increments from 20-24 to 80 & Over. The gift certificates can be redeemed at Athletic Annex Running Centre, Gilles Feet First or The Running Company.

Youth Age Division Awards: Youth awards for first, second, and third place (in the 5-Mile Run only) will be available for boys and girls in the 12 & under and 13-14 age divisions. All finishers age 14 and under in all events will receive a finisher's medal. Please pick up the medal at the table marked "14 and Under Medals" near the Award Ceremony area.

Please note: All awards must be picked up during the Award Ceremony - none will be mailed.

Note to those in the Competitive Walk: The walk course will be monitored. NO running or jogging will be permitted and those people called will be disqualified and ineligible for awards. The decision of the monitors will be final.
