The DAMAR Race for Success was a great success. Over 500 participants including "Team DAMAR" with over 90 youths (all are residents of DAMAR) had a great time. The events included a 5-Mile Run, 5K Competitive Walk, and two non-scored events, 5K Fitness Walk and a One-Mile Fun Run. The 5-mile run and the 5K Competitive Walk field was very competitive, with some great times. 	Everyone enjoyed the course, the refreshments, especially the snowcones and the DAMAR displays. Plus, over 15 participants won some great door prizes. A big "Thank you" to all the volunteers, the Indianapolis Police Department, Department of Public Works, Decatur Township High School, Decatur Township Fire Department, St. Francis Sports Medicine, and Kline's Quality Water, and especially DAMAR Services and the staff -- these people are why the DAMAR Race For Success -- was a success.
